Sky Tubes - tubular skylights that funnel daylight

Sky Tubes are tubular skylights which use silver reflective tubing to funnel daylight from the roof of a property, through the loft to the room below. A wide diameter around 240mm Silver Tube is used to maximise light flow. This fits nice and neat between the joists in the loft but still provides enough light to illuminate the entire room. The top of the tube fits into a Variable Pitch Adaptor (VPA) which means that the tube may also be turned to the South to make the most of the sun when its low in the sky in winter.

Adaptors that are Angled available for tight locations.

Also they saves your money from reduction in electric and gas.

But also reduce your carbon foot print as you don’t need internal lights on until it is very dark outside.

How Much Light Does a SKYTUBE Provide?

A SKY TUBE will light up a room 2.1 meters x 2.1 metres as the sole source of natural daylight.

If used in a landing or long passage a SKYTUBE will light up approximately 3.6 meters of corridor (with a width of not more than 1.3 meters)
